Under the Ministry of Youth Employment Agency, thousands of Ghanaian youth are being sent to Dubai for employment opportunities.

If you’re already in Dubai, don’t deceive yourself by rushing back home when you have nothing meaningful or no job waiting for you in Ghana. Think carefully, plan ahead, and make the most of the opportunities available to you.

The reality is that Ghana is not easy, and Dubai is not easy either. Wherever you find yourself, focus on building something for yourself before making major decisions.

Because of the trust people have in me, I will always do my honest part.

A friend of mine contacted me because he wanted to travel to Dubai to work, but he was afraid because some connections had taken his money in the past. I encouraged him to try again.

We started the process, and he was patient enough to wait and trust the journey. Today, I’m very happy to announce that he is now in Dubai! 🇦🇪✈️🎉

This is now the third person I have helped travel to Dubai for direct employment, and I’m truly grateful for the trust people place in me.

Yes, you can make it in Ghana, and I believe there are opportunities here. But if you are working extremely hard and still feel stuck—especially if you’re unable to save even GH₵1,500 a month—then I will encourage you to explore opportunities elsewhere and consider travelling.

Don’t let people discourage you when they won’t be there to feed you when things get difficult. Everyone’s journey is different.

If someone tells you Dubai is not a good place to travel to, that is their opinion. But come to Accra and see the many people struggling every day, including those sleeping under bridges and still waking up in the morning to work just to find something to eat.
