We are two retired doctors (Alona- an Infectious Diseases specialist and Joel- a dentist) who came for a holiday to this amazing island 6 years ago and fell in love with it. Now, we spend most of our time here, trying to convey our feelings, helping our guest to feel the special atmosphere of this island.

Do you hear the silence…
Walking through the narrow alleys of Kapparia, filled with a timeless feeling in this beautiful ancient village built in the 16th century. As always, amazed by the cleanliness and quietness of the small almost deserted villages of Andros. Colored metal and wooden doors and gates, blue pots with Geranium and Bougainville flowers behind a fence or in a corner. There we met Dimitra. In her grandfather’s house that he bought more than a 100 years ago. She comes here every summer for 3 months but as of this year she intends to stay much more. Do you hear the silence? she asks. The silence, the simplicity, the wind- all these fills you with an intoxicating sense.
