Η Piece of Cake Α.Ε., ιδρύθηκε από τον Παντελή Μητρόπουλο το 1987. Έκτοτε, έχει συμμετάσχει στην ανάπτυξη, χρηματοδότηση και παραγωγή πολλών Ελληνικών ταινιών που σημείωσαν εισπρακτική και καλλιτεχνική επιτυχία σε διεθνή και εγχώρια φεστιβάλ, καθιστώντας την μια από τις πλέον καταξιωμένες εταιρίες παραγωγής οπτικοακουστικού περιεχομένου στη χώρα μας, για περισσότερα από 25 χρόνια. παρέχει υπηρεσίες υψηλής ποιότητας καλύπτοντας όλο το φάσμα της διαδικασίας παραγωγής, συμμετέχοντας ενεργά σε διεθνείς αγορές, φεστιβάλ και fora και παρακολουθώντας στενά τις τάσεις οπτικοακουστικό χώρο.

Σήμερα η Piece of Cake, με επικεφαλής τον ιδρυτή της και με μια έμπειρη ομάδα συνεργατών στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, συνεχίζει την πορεία της στην ανάπτυξη, τη χρηματοδότηση, την παραγωγή και τη διανομή αξιόλογων κινηματογραφικών ταινιών τόσο καταξιωμένων, όσο και πρωτοεμφανιζόμενων δημιουργών, με κριτήρια την καλλιτεχνική αρτιότητα και τη βιωσιμότητα των επιλεγμένων σχεδίων στο διεθνές κινηματογραφικό στερέωμα.

Αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της εταιρείας στο εξής, αποτελεί η δραστηριοποίησή της στη διανομή ταινιών με το αντίστοιχο τμήμα της PIECE OF CAKE DISTRIBUTION. Συνδυάζοντας την τεχνογνωσία της Prooptiki A.E. με τη γνώση των σύγχρονων στρατηγικών διανομής σε όλα τα ψηφιακά μέσα, η POC αποτελεί την πλέον ολοκληρωμένη εταιρία για παραγωγή και διανομή οπτικοακουστικού περιεχομένου.
