🦐 During The Lovran Escape, you’ll take part in a hands-on seafood cooking workshop that brings together local flavours, tradition, and the joy of sharing a meal.

Together, we’ll prepare dishes inspired by the Kvarner coast using seasonal ingredients, freshly caught seafood, and produce sourced from the local market that very day. Guided by local hosts, you’ll get a glimpse into the region’s culinary traditions — simple, fresh, and deeply connected to the sea.

🏡 We’ve chosen a truly special place to stay — a beautifully preserved 17th-century stone house tucked away in the heart of Lovran’s old town.

Full of character, history, and Mediterranean charm, the house offers a peaceful retreat just steps from the sea. Its lovely courtyard is the perfect spot for slow mornings with coffee, quiet conversations, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of this historic coastal town.

Everything is within walking distance — the seaside promenade, local cafés, restaurants, hidden alleys, and the charming harbour — making it easy to experience Lovran at a relaxed pace.

🍷 A glass (or a few) of local tradition at The Lovran Escape ✨

One of the evenings during our getaway will be dedicated to the beautiful story of Kapîć Winery — a small boutique winery from the Kvarner region created from a deep love for local tradition, heritage, and authentic winemaking.

Inspired by the culture of Liburnia and Kastavština, every Kapîć wine carries a story, even through its name, many of which come from old local Chakavian (local dialect) words passed down through generations. 🍇

During this intimate wine tasting experience, a member of the Kapîć Winery team will guide us through several carefully selected wines paired with delicious local delicacies, sharing the passion, history, and soul behind every bottle.

And for those who discover a new favorite wine, bottles will also be available to purchase and take home. 💛

✨ I would love to welcome you to my Lovran ✨

My name is Ksenija, and tourism has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For many years, I owned and operated a tourist agency, and today I work as a licensed local tour guide here in Croatia — the place I proudly call home. 🌊

After a lifetime of creating journeys for others, I realized something very important:
Women often spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else that they forget they are also allowed to experience joy, adventure, beauty, and connection for themselves.

At 60 years old, I feel more certain than ever that life should never be postponed.

As a mother of three daughters, I raised them to never wait for the “right moment,” for permission, or for somebody else to start living fully. I believe we deserve to create beautiful memories at every stage of life.

That is exactly why The Lovran Escape was created. 💛

I wanted to gather a small group of wonderful women and share the authentic Lovran I know and love — hidden courtyards, local stories, long seaside walks, beautiful food, wine, laughter, boat rides, sunsets, and those simple moments that stay in your heart forever.

This is not just a getaway.
It is a chance to slow down, reconnect with yourself, meet inspiring women, and remind yourself that there is still so much life to enjoy.
