Southern Spain is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe and for good reason – this gorgeous region is renowned for its stunning landscapes, from the sun-drenched beaches of the Costa del Sol to the picturesque white villages nestled in the hills of Andalusia.

So, here I am to tell you all about the prettiest cities and towns we’ve had the pleasure of exploring in Southern Spain. It features a village built underneath a huge rock (Setenil de las Bodegas), a mountain village that’s painted entirely blue, and not forgetting one of my favorite cities in Spain – Malaga.

New Zealand is one of the most diverse and beautiful countries we’ve ever visited, and we actually lived here for a couple of years and found ourselves constantly awed by its unbelievable beauty and welcoming locals! While living here on both the North Island (in Kerikeri) and in Queenstown on the South Island, I got to try many guided tours – full disclosure, many were through my job as a receptionist at a luxury hotel chain.

Planning a vacation to Sydney and not sure where to stay? Trust me, I get it. Sydney is huge, and with hundreds of hotels spread across dozens of neighborhoods, choosing the right one can feel overwhelming. They all look amazing on the booking sites, don’t they?

I lived in Sydney for over 4 years, so I’ve explored all of the areas below multiple times and even lived in many of them (yep, during my time here I’ve called Bondi Beach, Surry Hills, The Rocks and Potts Point home). And so I know exactly which areas are worth staying in. And all the hotels I recommend below are places I’ve personally stayed at and would happily stay at again.
