Newmarket-on-Fergus Tractor Run

We are delighted to announce that The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT) will be the beneficiary of this year's Newmarket-on-Fergus Tractor & Truck Run, with all proceeds from the event being donated to the Trust.

This year's run will also be held in memory of our great friend Anthony "Sconey" Kilmartin, who sadly passed away in New York on 12th July.

Following Anthony's passing, KBRT helped bring him home to his family in Newmarket-on-Fergus. With that connection so close to our community, we felt there could be no more fitting organisation to support this year.

We hope everyone will get behind us and help make it a special day while raising much-needed funds for the wonderful work of KBRT.

Well done to everyone involved with the Kilmurry.Com Heritage Festival 2026 !

A great event, brilliantly organised and very well supported. Huge credit to all the organisers and volunteers, with a fantastic lineup of vintage tractors, cars and machinery on display.

A few of the Newmarket crew made the trip over. Hopefully we’ll see plenty of these tractors & cars again at the Newmarket-on-Fergus Tractor Run on Sunday, 27th September 2026! 🙌🚜

🐄 🐎 🐕 🐑 🐐🎪 🎶
Twas the night before show day, not a creature at rest,
The cattle stood brushed and the horses at their best.
The leads for the dog show were hung up with care,
While ponies and trailers were parked everywhere.

The pet farm was quiet, though not for too long,
By morning it's goats, ducks and lambs all in song,
While somewhere a fiddle was in perfect tune,
For music that’ll carry through the afternoon.

The ring will be buzzing with judges and cheer,
Fine beasts and proud handlers all hoping this year,
From wagging tails prancing to hooves on display,
There’s something for everyone down at our show day.

With burgers, and tea, and a tune in the air,
And neighbours all meeting from here, there and everywhere,
So sleep well tonight, for tomorrow we’ll know,
There’s no day quite like the Newmarket-on-Fergus Show.
