Transpec acquires the Airbrake Centre!!

Transpec Ltd has acquired The Airbrake Centre Ltd, Ireland’s top supplier of airbrake components for the HGV sector.

Richard Sheehan, the Managing Director at Transpec, commented, “This marks an exciting new chapter for both companies — combining decades of expertise, exceptional customer service, and a shared commitment to quality. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome The Airbrake Centre to the BPW Aftermarket Group and to become part of the Transpec network in Ireland.

The acquisition also provides Transpec with a prime location on the northside of Dublin, expanding its national reach and service capabilities.

We are delighted that Charlie will continue in his role at The Airbrake Centre, and that the existing staff members will also remain with the business. Ray Johnson will be retiring as part of this transition, and we extend our sincere thanks for his outstanding contribution over the years.

We are proud to continue our association with the teammates forever hurling tournament held annually in Ballinkillen Co. Carlow to remember two young teammates and brothers Eoghan and Ruairí Chada who were taken way too young eleven years ago. Teams of young hurlers come from all over the country to participate in this great festival of hurling. It’s a day about community, remembrance and reminding us all what’s important in life. A great day was had by all yesterday.
