Thanks to John and the lads for choosing Welby Bus Hire for their recent golf trip, the lads came all the way from Chicago and played in Oughterard, Barna, Ballyconnely and Galway bay golf course.

Blue skies all around lately, I recently had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Geraghty family and friends from Minnesota (originally from Headford) we visited all of the main attractions of Galway and Connemara over 5 days.

Day one was a simple transfer from Galway city to their BnB, the beautiful Corrib Lodge overlooking the lake near Oughterard

Day two Maam, Leenaun, Kylemore Abbey and then a fabulous lunch in The Willow Tree Clifden before returning to Oughterard.

Day three was a trip to Headford, where they visited the historic Ross Abbey that dates back to the 1300's, followed by a stop in Varleys of Headford. We then had a look at Ashford castle and a pub lunch and explored around Cong.

Day four was a trip to the Seaside in Salthill along with a few hours of shopping and lunch in Galway city, before returning to Oughterard.

And finally an early morning return transfer to Galway city where they headed back to Dublin and beyond.

It was a pleasure to have the Geraghty clan on board the bus and to show them around this beautiful part of the world especially with the recent good weather.
