📌 Beautiful County Donegal and Glenveagh Castle

⛱ A seaside town located in County Donegal, Bundoran is situated on the north west coast of the country and is known for its stunning natural beauty, particularly its rugged coastline along the Wild Atlantic Way. Bundoran is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors for its beautiful beaches, outdoor activities and vibrant night life.

✔️ Witness the beauty of nearby Glenveagh National Park and make the most of the visit with a stop at Glenveagh Castle and Gardens. Explore the romantic castle, a castellated mansion with all its original furnishings; and stroll the immaculate castle gardens, known as some of the best in Ireland. The remainder of the day can be spent at leisure in Bundoran.

✔️ Spend the day discovering picturesque Donegal town. Perhaps explore Donegal Castle, the ruined Abbey and abundance of shops; or just people watch and enjoy the 'craic' on The Diamond, Donegal's main square. You may wish to soak up beautiful scenery from the sea on the Donegal Bay Waterbus. The tour passes many local points of interest, including the Old Abbey and Seal Island.

✔️ Travel to Drumcliffe, world renowned as the final resting place of William Butler Yeats, Nobel Prize winning poet; and an important religious centre in the north-west of Ireland for at least 1500 years. Visit the church building and be inspired by the peace and tranquillity. Continue to the ancient town of Sligo, a great example of true Irish beauty. Explore great shopping opportunities and cosy cafes; or pop into a traditional Irish pub and enjoy the local 'craic'. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour at Belleek Pottery and behind the scenes access of the manufacturing and creative process that goes into every piece of Belleek fine china, produced on site since 1857.

🚍 Discover the Isle of Man with us. This holiday includes The Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, entertainment and an overnight stop en-route to the Isle of Man, allowing visits to pretty Kirkby Lonsdale and historic Lancaster.

🟨 Before arriving at the overnight hotel, a stop will be made in the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, set between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Few towns in Britain can boast 99% independent shops with no empty premises, ensuring visitors top quality retail therapy.

🟨 Some free time in Lancaster, known for its well-preserved architecture, including Georgian buildings, and its charming city centre with cobbled streets. Situated on the River Lune, some notable features of the city include Lancaster Castle, which has a history dating back nearly 1000 years and the Ashton Memorial, a striking monument in Williamson Park. Then board the ferry from Heysham to the Isle of Man.

🟨 Follow the Isle of Man's famous TT course to the harbour town of Ramsey. Join the Manx Electric Railway to Laxey, then enjoy the spectacular climb to the island's highest point aboard the Snaefell Mountain Railway. Rejoin the coach for a scenic journey along the East Coast to Douglas.

🟨 Firstly see the unmissable, spectacular views of Calf Sound, a must photo stop. Journey on for time at leisure in Port Erin, nestling in its scenic bay, before travelling to Peel, said to be the best example of a typical Manx town. Take time to stroll along Peel's beach or relax in one of the cafes before returning to Douglas.

🟨 Spend your free day exploring Douglas. Perhaps, visit the award-winning Manx Museum which presents the fascinating 10,000-year-old history and take the iconic horse-drawn tram along the promenade.

🟨 After breakfast you depart for the sailing back to Heysham and travel home.
