In 4 days, my family and I are finally picking up our campervan and hitting the road!
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been heads-down updating Triplans—the tool I built to plan RV trips using simple free-text—and I wanted to share a few major improvements I added right before we head out:
🛠️ What’s new in the app:
1️⃣ 3 Building Modes: You can now choose between a complete day-by-day itinerary, guided step-by-step planning, or just a flexible outline (perfect for spontaneous travelers).
2️⃣ Live Trip Editing via Chat: Once your itinerary is built, you can just talk to your trip in plain English/Hebrew to swap stops, adjust driving pace, or add campsite options on the fly.
3️⃣ Smart Pre-Trip Reminders: The app now sends automated reminders 3 days before you depart (checking off regional gear like gas adapters and vests) and on Day 1 to guide your daily route.
I won’t be as active online while driving through our route, but the platform is 100% live, free, and open for anyone planning their upcoming trip.
