Three Peaks Challenge in the UK. Usually, you climb the three highest peaks in Great Britain within 24 hours if you have support.

As we were self-driving, we did it in 48 hours.

The peaks:

Ben Nevis — 1,345 m — Scotland
Scafell Pike — 978 m — England
Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa — 1,085 m — Wales

It was done in June 2024, and it was snowing in Ben Nevis (Scotland).

Mongolia 🇲🇳 was the final stop of my Trans-Siberian trip in 2025. I only explored a few places: Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Hustai National Park, Semi-Gobi, and Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of Mongolia.

It was a trip of contrasts: Soviet-style architecture in Ulaanbaatar, endless open landscapes, wild horses, nomadic families, marmots, temples, and long roads across the steppe.

I’ll be honest: Mongolia disappointed me a bit. Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe I needed more time to understand it better. But even with that feeling, it was a very special way to end this long railway journey across Russia and into Asia.

My trip across RUSSIA🚂: in summer 2025, I did the Trans-Siberian Railway, self-organised: booking each train and stop along the way. It took around two weeks, combining nights on the train with nights in the cities so we could properly explore.

The route went from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar, stopping in places like Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, with time at Lake Baikal and smaller stops in between.

It’s not always easy. Some journeys take more than 24 hours, and the train becomes part of the experience.

However, it was worth every kilometer, and I would repeat it without hesitation.

The Hexagonal Mystery: From Iceland’s black-sand beaches to the cliffs of Ireland and the hidden gorges of Armenia. These perfect hexagons are born of lava, pressure and time (wrapped in myth).
I visited these places in 2014 (Iceland), 2017 (N. Ireland), 2025 (Armenia).
