This is muchilottu bhagavathi theyyam in kalliasseri anchampeedika vatakeel muchilottu kavu 🛕 in kannur. With rhythmic sounds of chenda and ilathalam, you can witness the performer transforming to muchilottu bhagavathi.

The goddess transformation to theyyam attire is theyyam mudi or muchilottu bhagavathi thirumudi . The head gear of goddess is decorated with flowers, leaves and metals.

This event happens once in a year in a kavu mostly October to may which am not sure.
Many kavu or ancestral temple in kannur are performing theyyam now.

This lake is called kollam chira located near sri pishari kavu temple. This lake belongs to this temple. Sri pisharikavu temple is a bhadrakali ( godess bhagavathy) temple in kollam, near koilandy, kozhikode district which is north malabar region of kerala.
This lake is popular with Sabarimala devotees from tamilnadu, karnataka and local peoples who bath in this lake and have prasadam at temple, take rest there and continue their journey.
This lake has a mermaid statue (Jalakanyaka) in the centre.
Tourists also visit this place. This tourist spot is on the way to kannur or thalassery. You can relax , have a tender coconut shake , tea and snacks and continue.
