The Project
Gokuldham Mandir in Goregoan (E), Mumbai epitomises the Indian culture in all breathtaking grandeur, beauty, and wisdom. The Gokuldham Temple is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious culture, values, and religious belief.
One of the most famous temples in the area, the Gokuldham Temple houses most of the Hindu dieties in utmost grandeur. The Temple authorities wanted to change all their existing halogen and CFL lighting systems before this Janmashtami due to increasing failures and cost of electricity.

The Solution
Ecolux India provided a solution to make substantial cuts in CO2 emissions and save on energy from lighting. We provided a complete overhaul of their lighting systems by upgrading it to LED.

Lights used:
a) 18W 4 feet LED Tube Lights in place of 44W Conventional Tube Lights
b) 9W 2 feet LED Tube Lights in place of 22W Conventional Tube Lights
c) 3W LED MR16 Spot Lights in place of 35W Halogen Spot Lights
d) 100W LED Flood Lights in place of 250W Halogen Flood Lights
e) 70W LED Flood Lights in place of 150W Halogen Flood Lights

The Result
This project has resulted in energy savings from lighting in the range of 50%-70% along with peace of mind. All products carry a 3 year replacement warranty. The payback period for this project comes to around 1.10 years based on the usage and electricity cost.
