Constituents of Earth
Earth's crust is made up of several elements ; Oxygen ,47 percent; Silicon, 27 percent; Aluminium, 8 percent; Iron, 5 percent; Calcium, 4 percent; Magnesium,Potassium & Sodium, 2 percent. The crust is divided into huge plates that floats on mantle, the next layer.

Plate Tectonics
Plate Tectonics is scientific theory describing the large scale motion of seven larger plates and larger number of smaller plates of Earth's Lithosphere over last hundreds of millions of years.The theoretical model builds on concept of continental drift an idea developed during the first few decades of 20th century.
The lithosphere, which is rigid outermost shell of planet(the crust & upper mantle)is broken into tectonic plates.The Earth's Lithosphere is composed of seven or eight plates and many minor plates.Where the plates meet their relative motion determines the type of boundary,convergent, divergent or transform.
Earthquakes,volcanic activities, mountain building and oceanic trench formation occur along this plate boundaries.

Due to the sudden increase in the angular velocity, the radius of Jupiter increased, so Jupiter started moving away from Sun from 1.5 AU (Astronomical unit) to 8.5 AU (away from Saturn) destroying the solar system formed in its path

A)Inward planetary migration
At the time of birth of Solar System after pebble migration Jupiter was at 3 AU(Astronomical unit )from Sun.But due to change in time of revolution of Jupiter it came closer to Sun at 1.5 AU from Sun. It moved inwards destroying planetary system formed after birth of Solar System. This is called as inward planetary migration.

when thiscore exceeds a critical value(typically greater than 10 Earth masses)a gaseous runaway
growth is triggered and the planet accretes big quantities of gas in a short period of time until
theplanetachievesitsfinalmass.Thus,theformationofa massive core has to occur when the
nebular gas is still available in the disk.This phenomenon imposes a strong time-scale
constraint in giant planet formation due to the fact that the lifetimes of the observed
protoplanetary disk sare in general lower thanc10Myr.The formation of massive cores before
10Myr by accretion of big planetesimals(withradii>10km)in the oligarchic growth regime is
only possible in massive disks.However,planetes imal accretion rates significantly increase for
small bodies,especially forpebbles ,particles of sizes between mm and cm,which are strongly
coupled with the gas.In this work,we study the formation of giant planets in corporating
pebble accretion rates in our global model of planet formation.

Core Accretion Theory for planet formation:
Approximately 4.6 billion years ago,the solar system was a cloud of dust and gas known as a
solar nebula.Gravity collapsed thebmaterial in on itself as it began to spin,forming the sun in
the center of the nebula.
With the rise of the sun,the remaining material began to clump up.Small particles drew
together,bound by the force of gravity,into larger particles.The solar wind swept away lighter
elements,such as hydrogen and helium,from the closer regions,leaving only heavy,rocky
materials to create smaller terrestrial worlds.But farther away,the solar winds had less
impact on lighter elements,allowing them to coalesce into gas giants.In this way,asteroids,
comets,planets,and moons were created.
