For nearly a century, this iconic train connected the cultural capital of Kolkata, West Bengal 💜 with the desert city of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan 🧡, carrying millions of passengers and countless memories across India.

Though its journey ended in 2020, the legacy of Udyan Abha Toofan Express continues to live in the hearts of railway enthusiasts and travelers.

📢 Public Demand to South Eastern Railway

Restore 12865/12866 Lalmati Superfast Express

Howrah ⇄ Purulia via Jhargram – Tatanagar – Chandil

Once the most important and convenient train connecting Purulia with Kolkata and the industrial belt of Jharkhand, the Lalmati SF Express was discontinued after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and has never returned.

✅ High public demand for restoration
