Summer in Japan has its own little survival kit ☀️🇯🇵
A bowl of kakigori (shaved ice), a chilled cucumber, and a quick stop at the purification fountain before entering a shrine — small things, but they make a hot day feel a lot easier.
This summer felt unusually short, and already it feels like Japan is slowly starting to turn toward autumn.
Soon the heat will ease, the leaves will change, and one of Japan’s busiest — and most beautiful — travel seasons will begin.
For now, we’re enjoying the last little tastes of summer. 🍧🥒⛩️
