Prices
Here is our general breakdown for our shopping service fee:
☼ Daiso Items/Gachapon Fee = 200 yen per item
☼ Items Under 2,000 Yen Fee = 500 yen per item
☼ Items Priced 2,000-10,000 Yen Fee = 60% per item
☼ Items Priced 30,000 Yen or More Fee = 50% per item
Example 1: Pikachu Plush = 1200 yen
1200 yen + 500 yen (500 yen shopping service fee) = 17
00 yen total
Example 2: Luffy Figure = 2999 yen
2999 yen + 1799 yen (60% shopping service fee) = 4798 yen total
Additional Fees
☼ ATM Fee
-Items over 30,000 yen each incurs an extra 500 yen fee.
☼ Transport Fee
-In-store pickup items incur an extra 300 yen fee (per trip, not item).
☼ Event/Ticket Fee
-If your pickup requires going to a ticketed event, you are responsible for covering the cost of transportation and ticket fee in yen (no extra processing fees added).
☼ Finding Fee
-If you would like us to search for a specific item, especially if it is rare/difficult to find, we will ask for a 500 yen fee to go searching for you.
☼ Repackaging/Unboxing/Vacuum Bag Fees
-If you specifically request your items to be packaged in a certain way to save on shipping costs (removing/folding up figure boxes, putting big plush into vacuum bags, etc), we will charge a fee of 500 yen to do so! Please note that jumbo vacuum seal bags may cost more and we might have to purchase them separately. Shipping Fees
Shipping cost depends on the method as well as other factors like weight/box size/materials purchased. We require insurance/tracking to be purchased with shipping as to protect both the customer and shop.
Note: Please note that for these estimations we used the United States as a destination country, as most of our customer base resides there. Keep in mind prices for your country may be higher or lower! Please consult the Japan Post page for more details. Please consult the following for price estimations:
☼ Surface Mail
-Shipping is calculated by weight and box size.
-Approximate arrival time 2-4 months.
-Generally starts at around 480 yen.
-Additional fee of 600 yen added for tracking, insurance, and packing materials.
☼ Economy, Airmail
-Shipping is calculated by weight and box size.
-Approximate arrival time 2-4 weeks for economy, 1-2 weeks for airmail.
-Generally starts at around 720 yen.
-Additional fee of 600 yen added for tracking, insurance, and packing materials.
☼ EMS
-Shipping is calculated by weight and box size.
-Approximate arrival time under 1 week.
-Generally starts at around 3,900 yen.
-Additional fee of 200 yen added for packing materials.
☼ Kuroneko Yamato
-Shipping is calculated by box size. Box size is determined by length+width+height in centimeters.
-Approximate arrival time under 1 week. The following are estimated prices for each size box:
○ Size 60cm = 3,700 yen
○ Size 80cm = 6,300 yen
○ Size 100cm = 11,950 yen
○ Size 120cm = 20,300 yen
○ Size 140cm = 27,750 yen
○ Size 160cm = 35,150 yen
-(NOTE: Food, makeup, and some other items cannot be shipped via Kuroneko. Please check with us if you have further questions.) Exchanges & Returns Policy
☼ Returns and Exchanges Requested by Customers ☼
Before pickup: Please contact us immediately if you need a refund. If you contact us before pickup of your items is complete, we can refund your invoice in full. After pickup: If you contact us after we have already picked up your items, unfortunately we cannot accept refunds. As most shops in Japan are final sale, once we purchase the item, it is difficult or impossible to return it ourselves.
☼ Returns and Exchanges for Defective Goods and Services ☼
Please contact us within 1 week of receipt and let us know your items have been damaged. We will take the necessary steps to begin filing for a damage claim, but in order for you to receive a refund, we will need you to perform the following steps:
1. Please take photos of both the item itself and the outside of the box. Please keep the damaged items, the packaging, the box, and anything package-related.
2. Please contact to your local post office and take the item, photos and delivery receipt with you.
3. Ask the post office to issue you a damage report form (CN24). After you receive this form, please send a copy to us. We will then file the claim with the shipping service you requested. The length of time between claim filing and refund depends on the case, so please be aware that it may take 1-6 months for the investigation to be completed. Once the shipping service approves the claim and sends us the refund, we will pass that refund onto you. Delivery Times
Items will be purchased for you within 1 week of your request, other than event pickups. Once the items arrive and you have no more pending orders, we will send you a shipping quote. After shipping, delivery times may vary from a few days to a few months depending on which shipping method you choose. Please choose your shipping method carefully, and if you don't receive your items within the estimated time frames above, send us a message and we will look into the problem for you! Hold Times
Items can be held to be consolidated for up to 1 month in most cases, if continual purchases are made. After this time has passed, we will prepare a shipping quote for you, or earlier if you request it. Please note that if your box exceeds the 100cm size, we reserve the right to prepare it for shipping within 3 days as to make room for other orders. IMPORTANT NOTE: If we do not receive payment or correspondence from you within 3 months of holding your order, your items are subject to forfeit, and we reserve the right to refuse any future requests. Once you send us a request for a pickup, we will send you an invoice for the total cost. Invoices must be paid within 3 days of receiving, otherwise your pickup will be canceled and your account will be given one strike. Three strikes and we reserve the right to refuse future requests.
