Back to Full Route Visuals and this time we are going to South London to check out the discontinued Route 118 which has now been replaced by Route 45 operating from Morden to Camberwell Green via Route 118 operated by Transport UK (formerly Abellio London). As a result Route 45 no longer serves Clapham Park and Elephant and Castle. We are looking to increase the capacity of Full Route Visuals to enhance route knowledge across fellow enthusiasts, staff and workers. Back to the flights and this time we travel from Tokyo to London via Alaska, Greenland and Iceland on an Airbus A350 which is our longest flight (15.5 hours) on record. It was a very busy morning and was delayed at Haneda enroute to the runway and had to take a detour and hold for a while. Headphones are strongly recommended to have the full inflight experience. Today marks our 13 year anniversary since we first launched our YouTube channel which we have seen a lot of growth that's taken place across the years especially foreign videos and onboard flights more regulary in the recent years. Today's video is local is a throwback from 10 years ago on Saturday on Route 112 in the Ealing area heading towards Brent Cross which has been rerouted since 2020. We go back to 9 years ago where we check out the District Line Rail Replacement Service from Turnham Green to Ravenscourt Park on a Scania Omnicity operated by RATP Dev which all specifications of the Scania Omnicity has been withdrawn from TFL service as of May 2024. This particular route often is DL1/DL2 (Earl's Court-Acton Town) or PL1 (Hammersmith-Northfields stopping) in contrast to DL3 (towards Richmond). We go more recently to only last week where Class 458's have been refurbished into Class 458/4 which features the First Class Cabin being reinstated (operating as Economy Class on this route) on the second day of service on the Weybridge Line on the morning commute to work. The Class 458/4 is currently only allowed to work on the Hounslow Loop Line and the Weybridge Line as of now but they will be cleared for more routes in the near future.
