Today, North Coast Medical Training College (NCMTC) brought learning to life through a practical simulation exercise designed to prepare students for their upcoming clinical and community practice.
Under the watchful eye of Dr. Reuben Waswa, Manager KOBES, and NCMTC trainers, students were challenged to demonstrate their knowledge, practical skills, teamwork,
for students to encounter real challengesβwe prepare them for them. communication, and decision-making in simulated healthcare situations.
The simulation provided a safe space for students to practise, make decisions, receive feedback, and build confidence before stepping into real clinical and community settings.
For the trainers and college leadership, it was more than just watching students perform it was an opportunity to assess their readiness and identify areas where they can further strengthen their skills.
As NCMTC continues to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world healthcare, simulation remains an important part of preparing competent, confident, and compassionate healthcare professionals.
