Kampur Travel Diaries is a Kenyan owned, family run safari operator and planner with a difference. All our recommendations of itineraries, adventures and accommodation come from our personal experiences of over 20yrs, ensuring that you have the perfect safari. Prior to the inception of our business, we were empowering communities in beautiful Northern Kenya. It was therefore a natural progression

for us to make the decision (from when we started the business) to plough back part of the proceeds from every safari into our programs in this region.

Asante sana to all our guests who trusted us to craft their amazing adventures in 2025. Your safaris have supported the activities carried out by the professional snake handler in 2025.

We are happy to share that since July 2025, Patrick (professional snake handler) was able to safely capture 26 snakes and relocate them into the wild.

Additionally he was instrumental in organizing 4 human wildlife conflict workshops with the communities they work in the tsavo ecosystem.

We are looking forward sharing more results in the next few months as our community conservation program continues with .

Earlier this year we reached a milestone of having distributed more than 100,000 exercise books and other school stationery as part of our education program in Northern Kenya.

We want to thank all the guests who have trusted us and traveled with us since we started out in 2018 and the anonymous donors who have been instrumental in assisting this program which helps keep kids in school.

Northern Kenya is a region which is remote and has been neglected since time immemorial. Education has never been a priority for many of the pastoralist tribes residing in the region.
