Hidden deep in the forest, this waterfall feels even more mysterious and magical when the water is rushing down at full force.

Looking at that powerful waterfall, I suddenly wondered…
What if I sat underneath it like a monk, meditating and searching for enlightenment? 🧘‍♀️✨

Would I finally discover the meaning of life…
or would the waterfall just slap me in the face so hard that I'd immediately regret the idea? 😂💦

Maybe enlightenment is better achieved from a safe distance!

Jeongbang Waterfall in Jeju — the only waterfall in Korea that falls directly into the sea. 🌊💦

After a rainy day, the waterfall becomes even more powerful, with a much stronger flow cascading dramatically over the cliffs.

Compared to Canada’s mighty Niagara Falls, Jeongbang may still feel like a “baby waterfall,” but its raw natural beauty has a charm all its own. Surrounded by volcanic cliffs, the ocean, and the sound of rushing water, it’s truly one of Jeju’s most breathtaking natural wonders.

Nature doesn’t always have to be grand in scale to leave you in awe. 💙

Jeju, my forever favorite. 🌊💙

Sometimes, I don’t need to visit any tourist attractions at all. Just sitting in a café by the sea, doing absolutely nothing but gazing at the endless blue is more than enough to make me happy.

I’ve reached that slightly bittersweet age where I can’t survive without my reading glasses anymore. 👓😅 Still, here I am, carefully answering every tour inquiry with all my heart, even during my little escape to Jeju.

A good cup of coffee, the sound of the waves, and a little time to simply rest and do nothing.

Sometimes, this is exactly what I need.
And it feels so good. ☕🌊

Watching an automatic serving robot carefully make its way through the restaurant, carrying food and finding the right guests, never gets old. The more I see these clever little helpers, the smarter—and more charming—they seem.

Technology can be surprisingly cute sometimes. 😊

There’s no better way to survive a Korean summer than with a bowl of Patbingsu! ❄️🍧

To suit my guests’ preferences, I ordered a version made with milk ice, sweet syrup, and injeolmi (soft Korean rice cake), without any fruit and red beans. Their priceless reactions and hilarious comments had us all laughing! 😂

On a hot and humid summer day, sharing simple but memorable moments like this is one of the greatest joys of being a guide. These are the experiences that make every tour truly special.

Hidden deep in the mountains of Korea, Gombaeryeong is one of those places that feels almost unreal.

After hiking 5.1 km one way through a dense forest, drenched in sweat, you are finally rewarded with a breathtaking alpine meadow stretching across the mountaintop. In an instant, every bit of exhaustion disappears. Colorful wildflowers bloom in every direction, while powerful mountain winds make you feel as if you could almost fly.

It's hard to imagine that such a beautiful place exists at the top of the mountain. Even more special, these wildflowers can only be enjoyed during July and August, making Gombaeryeong a truly seasonal experience worth planning for.

The 10.2 km round-trip hike left both my legs and my whole body completely exhausted—but without a doubt, it was one of the most unforgettable experiences I've had.

Sudden rain poured down without warning, so I stepped under the eaves and simply watched. It came down fiercely, then faded away just as quickly. These days, Korea seems to experience tropical-style showers more often, much like Southeast Asia.

This is Jongmyo Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the ancestral tablets of 27 kings of the Joseon Dynasty are enshrined. Some may see it as a royal resting place, but when you walk through its quiet paths surrounded by nature, it feels incredibly peaceful and timeless. Standing here, I couldn't help but wonder... perhaps this is what heaven feels like.

Sometimes, the simplest Korean comfort foods are the ones we miss the most. 🇰🇷

A plate of spicy, chewy tteokbokki and a bowl of refreshing bingsu may not seem extraordinary when you're in Korea. But once you're abroad, these are often the first Korean foods you find yourself craving.

One brings a little fiery kick, the other cools you down on a hot summer day. Together, they're the perfect reminder that happiness can be found in the simplest flavors.
