Her finner du alt mellom himmel og jord. De aller fleste tingene er håndlaget og dette er individuelle selvstendige eiere som fronter sitt craftsmanship ~~ 👏👏🙂👍

The main river running through Bangkok(Chao Phraya River boat) might not be the cleanest water you'll ever see, but don't let that fool you. The gritty, authentic vibe down by the docks and ferry piers is absolutely perfect for capturing some raw, down-to-earth pictures of local daily life.

Essential Travel Tip: If you want to beat the city's notorious traffic jams, use the river boats to get around Bangkok! Taking a Chao Phraya River boat or a local canal water taxi is incredibly cheap, fast, and efficient. It is by far the best transit option if you are moving up and down the river to visit major hotspots like Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, or Chinatown. Skip the expensive taxis and travel like a local!

Planning a day of sightseeing in Thailand's capital? Here are two essential safety and etiquette tips you need to know before you head out! 👇

First, keep in mind that the Bangkok temple dress code is strictly enforced. Major cultural sites require both men and women to wear long pants or skirts that cover the knees, and shirts that cover the shoulders. Throwing a pair of lightweight trousers or a sarong into your daypack is a lifesaver.

Second, stay vigilant against the notorious Bangkok "it's closed" scam. Friendly locals or tuk-tuk drivers outside major tourist attractions might approach you claiming the temple is closed for a holiday or private event, offering to take you to a "secret" shopping spot instead. While police crackdowns have made this less common recently, it absolutely still happens. Don't be fooled! Always walk right up to the main ticket booth yourself, and double-check official websites for current hours of operation and holiday schedules.

Whether you are a passionate architecture lover or you simply can't help but be amazed by stunning buildings, the traditional architecture and historic temples of Bangkok will leave you breathless.

The brilliant mix of shimmering gold leaf and intricate mosaics is beautifully woven into every traditional structure, creating a stark, striking contrast against the modern city skyline. From the iconic spires of classic Wats to the hidden neighborhood shrines, the craftsmanship in this capital is an absolute must-see.
