📦 August 14 is Korea's "Delivery Holiday."

The Delivery Holiday is a nationwide initiative that gives delivery workers a well-deserved break and helps improve their working conditions.

Here's what to expect:
✅ Most parcel deliveries and pickups will be paused.
✅ If you need something before the holiday, it's best to place your order by August 13.
✅ Because the holiday is followed by Liberation Day (Aug. 15) and the substitute holiday (Aug. 17), many parcel services will resume after the holiday period. Delivery schedules may vary depending on the courier.

💡 Good to know:
Coupang Rocket Delivery and Kurly's own delivery service operate on their own logistics networks, so they are generally available during this period.

If you're planning to shop online, ordering a little earlier can save you from unexpected delays!

Yes, it's that time of year again. The Korean rainy season, known as Jangma (장마), is just around the corner.

Typically lasting from late June to July, Jangma brings frequent rain, lush green landscapes, and a completely different side of Korea. While the weather may be wet, it's also one of the most peaceful and cozy seasons to experience.

☔ If you're visiting Korea during Jangma, don't forget to pack:
• A small umbrella
• Waterproof shoes
• A light rain jacket

Starting January 1, Korea is launching Everyone’s Card, a new and expanded K-Pass designed to cap monthly public transportation costs.
✔️ Monthly caps of ₩45,000–₩62,000 for buses and subways
✔️ ₩85,000–₩100,000 for wider transit use under the Plus option
100% of fares above the cap are refunded
✔️ Requires 15+ trips per month
✔️Caps differ based on region, age group, family size, and income level
✔️Existing K-Pass users are automatically covered
For many riders in the metropolitan area, paying around ₩62,000 a month can mean effectively unlimited bus and subway rides. With government funding for transit refunds increasing to ₩558 billion, this is one of the biggest public transport support updates to date.
More rides, fewer limits. 💳🚆
