Emma’s Story – We Make Travel Simple🧳
When Emma landed in Sri Lanka for the very first time, her heart was filled with excitement. The golden beaches, warm smiles, and tropical breeze made her feel instantly welcome. But then reality hit her the moment she wheeled her heavy green suitcase out of Colombo Airport. Weighing over 40 kilograms, it was far from easy to move around.
Her first thought was that there must be a luggage storage service right at the airport. And yes, there was one. Unfortunately, when she got there, every locker was already booked. Disappointed but determined, she made her way to Colombo Fort Railway Station where she heard there were government-run luggage lockers. When she arrived, she realized the lockers didn’t even have locks, and she would have to buy one from a hardware shop nearby. The staff seemed uninterested and the whole experience left her feeling uneasy.
Those first few days were stressful for Emma. She was new to Sri Lanka and had planned to travel without a strict itinerary, just going where the road took her. But dragging a heavy suitcase through the city wasn’t part of the adventure she imagined.
Then, by pure chance, she found out about Luggagestorelk. A friend of a friend who had used our service before gave her our number and suggested she reach out. That one call changed everything.

On the final night of her trip, just before her midnight flight, we delivered her suitcase directly to the departure terminal at Colombo Airport. Seeing her smile as she waved goodbye reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
