Honestly, it was such a great experience for us too. From Fes to the Sahara desert nights under the stars and beaches of the Atlantic Ocean we shared a lot of good moments, laughs, and memories together.

🐪 4-Day Desert Tour Itinerary (Marrakech → Merzouga)

Day 1 — Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Benhaddou → Dades Valley

Morning pickup from your hotel in Marrakech.
Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Visit the iconic UNESCO World-Heritage Aït Benhaddou (ancient kasbah featured in films).
Continue to Ouarzazate (desert “Hollywood”), and then Dades Valley / Dades Gorge area.
Overnight in a local guesthouse/hotel with dinner.

Day 2 — Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, drive through picturesque Dades & Todra Gorges.
Continue south toward the Sahara to reach Merzouga near the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
Enjoy a camel ride into the dunes at sunset.
Overnight in a desert camp under the stars — Berber tents with dinner around a campfire.

Day 3 — Sahara Desert Exploration
Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes (a highlight of this tour).
Option to visit Rissani market or explore nearby desert oases and villages.
Relax or take optional activities (quad biking, sandboarding, visiting Gnawa music villages).
Second night in camp or a hotel in Merzouga.

Day 4 — Merzouga → Ouarzazate → Marrakech

After breakfast, depart the desert and head back toward Marrakech.
Drive through scenic landscapes (Valley of Roses, Skoura palm grove), with stops if time allows.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains again to return to Marrakech by late afternoon/evening.
End of tour with drop-off at your hotel.
