Chris Maeri is an ORCKA certified wilderness guide and travel expert with over 20 years experience in backcountry camping and ecotourism consulting. Chris started her career in the conventional tourism industry and over the years progressed to work on multiple International ecotourism and sustainable community development projects. She has offered tour guiding services in Ontario, Canada and the N

ature Isle of Dominica and has planned ecotourism, permaculture and survivalist events in Eastern Canada, Chiapas, Mexico, Washington D.C. Chris is also one of the core organizers of the annual Harvest Gathering skills sharing event in the Kawartha's, Ontario. Chris holds a Tourism & Travel Diploma, a diploma in Ecotourism & Adventure Tourism Management and a certificate in Web & Print Design. A seasoned world traveler, Chris has an infectious passion for nature and carries a wealth of bushcrafting and travel knowledge with her on every trip.
