Dank aan de Taipei Representative Office in Nederland voor de uitnodiging. Tijdens de bijeenkomst van de Taiwan Alumni Association mocht ik Taiwans minder bekende bestemmingen en bijzondere reiservaringen presenteren aan een zaal vol mensen die het bestemming al kennen. Dat maakt het gesprek alleen maar leuker.

Thanks to the Taipei Representative Office for the invitation. We presented Taiwan’s lesser-known destinations to a room full of people who already know Taiwan, which made the conversation even better.

It was a profound honor to serve as the narrator for ”Sounds of Formosa“ at Leiden University‘s Hague campus. 🎻✨

Music has a unique way of storytelling that transcends borders. From the nostalgic melodies of ”Anping Memory“ to the rhythmic energy of ”April Rain,“ sharing the cultural background behind these pieces was a truly rewarding experience.

A huge thank you to the talented cellist and pianist for their breathtaking performance. It was also a privilege to witness the insightful dialogue between Ambassador Mr. Tian and Professor Casper Wits, exploring Taiwan’s identity on the international stage. 🇹🇼🇳🇱

At Kunji, we believe that travel is about connecting cultures, and there’s no better bridge than art. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this beautiful evening of Taiwanese sounds.
