We hereby announce that Estron Group has joined today DFDS by selling 100% of the share capital to strengthen our market position and secure our future developments.
We are convinced that DFDS is a strategic fit for Estron Group. Giving us the opportunity to expand our transport network by adding capacity to the existing full-load operation from the UK for the ultimate combination of handling road and ferry transport.
In addition, DFDS Wychen is an ideal combination for our part-load and warehousing operations. It complements the existing similar operations in Rotterdam. The acquisition strengthens our customer offerings and is expected to generate both commercial and operational synergies.
One of the main reasons we have chosen DFDS is that our family-owned company has the same mentality and attitude with direct decision-making and personal contact.
