Dus eigenlijk is t gewoon…”Go with the Flow” 😏
The real risk isn’t something going wrong. It’s thinking you won’t be able to handle it when it does.
Long-term travel forces you to address that head-on. In this lifestyle, problems are part of the deal. Vehicles need attention, routes change, weather affects your plans. And you can’t insulate yourself from uncertainty.
Of course, there’s always an underlying worry: what if something happens that’s beyond our capabilities? But when something actually does, you approach it clearly, logically and practically. Most problems aren’t brick walls; they’re just puzzles to be solved one step at a time.
Over months and years, you learn that you can figure things out. Very few problems are a real disasters. As you tackle these regular challenges you become a slightly more capable version of yourself.
The real danger is never the breakdown or the unexpected problem. It’s underestimating your ability to deal with it.
