I love looking forward to thing to come.
Good things.
Even good small things like the weekend, a package to arrive, eating my favorite dish.
But at the moment im really looking forward to January the 29th 2027!
Why??
Because on that day the Transavia airplane will bring us to La Palma where we will stay for 2 weeks!
And if you're familiar with the La Palma festivities than you know that in those two weeks the famous Los Indianos will take place.
And im a bit ashamed to admit.......but it will be my first time attending Los Indianos!
Im really looking forward to it!
Im also looking forward to enjoy a beautiful sunrise of sunset as in this photo made by LaPalmaLover follower Maria Rodriguez

One of the most recognisable wall painting is this 'Querer volver' wall painting, which is located in Los LLanos and the words 'Querer volver' translated in English means:"I want to return"
And anyone who has been to La Palma querer volver to La Palma.
I never met someone who went to La Palma and said:"La Palma was nice for one time, and for me it ends her because one time is enough!"

La Palma is boring and is no fun for kids!
Ahum....name me another vacation location where you can show your kids the Milky Way live!
I'm waiting....
Well, I'm pretty sure that the kid(s) in this photo had an amazing experience seeing the Milky Way with their own eyes!
Imagine that on the first day on school their friends ask how their vacation was.
And they can answer like this:"Oh we went to La Palma and we saw amazing nature. Oh and the Milky Way!"
My daughter went to La Palma as a kid and now it's her favorite vacation location.
So, one thing clear: La Palma is great for kids.

Most people who want to have a clear view on the stars in the sky, or to see the Milky Way drive all the way up to the highest point of Roque de Los Muchachos.
LaPalmaLover follower Da Wa proves that you don't need to do that.
Just drive to Playa Tazacorte, save yourself a lot of time and kilometres and have an amazing view on the Milky Way.
Simply amazing.

For me the number one place to go for a swim on a hot day is La Fajana.
It feels like the water at La Fajana is next leven freshness. I know and realise that it is the same ocean water as in Playa Los Cancajos or Playa Tazacorte, but still, for me it feels like this water comes with an extra. The water here feels cool, refreshing, and it always gives me energy when I have swum there.
And as an extra big plus, La Fajana comes with an excellent (fish specialised) restaurant named La Gaviota
