From chasing the magical Northern Lights to scenic fjord tours

One more round. One more chance. The clouds drifted away, and the Arctic sky came alive above the horizon. 🌌

Here’s a caption that keeps the focus on the experience, not the music:

Some moments can’t be planned. They can only be found.

We followed the changing sky, left the city lights behind, and waited where the Arctic was at its quietest. Then the horizon came alive.

No filters. No crowds. Just the stillness of the North, the warmth of the fire, and the Northern Lights moving above us.

These are the moments that stay with you long after the journey ends.

Alshemal Guiding the Glow of the Night,
Every night carries a different story.

Seeing the Northern Lights is not only about looking up. It is also about knowing when to move.

That night, we travelled a long distance from Tromsø, followed the weather and changed locations until we found the clear sky we were searching for.

Then the night delivered.

The aurora danced above us—and we celebrated the moment together, under the Arctic sky.

This is a real Alshemal Norway aurora chase: long distances, live decisions, patience and the flexibility to keep moving when conditions change.

Turn up the sound. This is exactly what our original song, “Under the Arctic Sky – Alshemal Nights,” was made for.

Real sky. Real guests. Real happiness. 💚

Would you have celebrated with us?

Lady Aurora Dancing with the Moon 🌕💚

Can the Northern Lights be seen during a full moon?

Yes—when the aurora is strong, it can shine brilliantly even beneath bright moonlight. A full moon may soften weaker displays, but a powerful aurora can still dance clearly across the Arctic sky.

On this night, Lady Aurora and the Moon shared the stage—and neither one wanted to leave. ✨

Would you prefer to see the aurora beneath a dark sky or a glowing full moon?

Green light moving through the dark! 🌌🔥
There is a specific rhythm to the Arctic winter.
It’s the sound of the cracking campfire, the heavy pulse of the frozen tide, and the absolute awe of watching the sky catch fire.
We captured that exact feeling in our new official track: The Wild Tide. 🥁❄️ Driven by heavy Nordic frame drums and ethereal vocals, it is the soundtrack to our nights out on the frozen shores of Tromsø.

🎧 Turn up your volume, listen to the wild, and imagine sitting right here by the fire with us.

Blue Aurora in March? Let’s talk reality. ❄️💙

Last night’s 20/03/2026 G2 geomagnetic storm pushed solar energy deep into Earth’s atmosphere — strong enough to light up the Arctic sky beautifully… but not always in the way people expect.

Most auroras appear green (oxygen at ~100–300 km) and sometimes red (higher altitude oxygen).
The rare blue/purple tones come from nitrogen molecules, and here’s the catch:

👉 They need very specific conditions
👉 Lower altitude collisions + strong particle energy
👉 And usually high activity + dark, clear skies

So yes — a G2 storm can produce blue aurora…
but March makes it tricky.

Why?
• Increasing daylight reduces contrast
• Warmer atmosphere changes particle interactions slightly
• And most importantly: you still need perfect timing + sky clarity

📊 Translation:
Even during a storm alert, nothing is guaranteed.

That’s the part most people don’t understand —
aurora isn’t a “show”, it’s a natural reaction between solar wind and Earth’s magnetic field.

And blue aurora?
That’s like catching lightning inside a snowflake.

Rare. Subtle. Unpredictable.

If you saw it — you got lucky.
If you didn’t — welcome to real Arctic science.
