Request for Help in Finding a Missing Korean Trekker
Dear TAAN Members, Trekking Guides and Destination Communities, a Korean national, named Mr. Yeon-Sang Chung is reported to have been missing in Nepal during/after his trekking to the Khumbu region of Nepal. The 67 years old gentleman is about 165cm tall (photograph enclosed).
Though a very little information is known about his trekking, including whether he trekked through a registered trekking company with a trekking guide, he is believed to have spent his time for trekking in the Everest region from 23rd December 2025 to 06 January 2026. He was scheduled to board a plane to Korea on 10 January 2026.
