Tso Rolpa Lake, located in the Rolwaling Valley within the Gaurishankar Conservation Area, is one of Nepal's largest glacial lakes. The trek to this stunning lake offers not just natural beauty but also a rich cultural experience, heavily influenced by Tibetan traditions. As you traverse through the valley, you'll encounter ancient monasteries, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and the warm hospitality of the local Sherpa and Tibetan communities.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Chetchet by Bus (6-7 hours) and Trek to Simigaon (2 hours)
Morning: Depart from Kathmandu early in the morning for a scenic bus ride to Chetchet. The drive, though long, is filled with picturesque landscapes, including terraced fields, rivers, and waterfalls.
Afternoon: Upon reaching Chetchet, begin the short but steep trek to Simigaon, a beautiful village offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Overnight: Stay in Simigaon.

Day 2: Simigaon to Beding (7-8 hours)
Morning: Begin your trek from Simigaon, climbing steadily with breathtaking views from the hilltops.
Midday: Cross several bridges—cantilever, hanging, wooden, and suspension—while the constant sound of the river and waterfalls accompany your journey.
Afternoon: Arrive in Beding, a serene village nestled in the lap of Mt. Gaurishankar.
Overnight: Stay in Beding.

Day 3: Beding to Na Village (3 hours)
Morning: Explore Beding, visiting the monasteries (Gumbas) atop the hills to experience the area's rich Tibetan culture.
Midday: Trek to Na Village, a picturesque settlement offering some of the best views in the region.
Afternoon: Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing and exploring the village.
Overnight: Stay in Na Village.

Day 4: Na Village to Tso Rolpa Lake and Back to Na Village (8 hours)
Early Morning: Start your trek to Tso Rolpa Lake. The morning air and rising sun create a magical atmosphere as you make your way to the lake.
Midday: Arrive at Tso Rolpa Lake, where you'll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of the turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks. For those interested, a side trek to Dudh K***a takes an additional 2-3 hours.
Afternoon: Return to Na Village.
Overnight: Stay in Na Village.

Day 5: Na Village to Dongang (6-7 hours)
Morning: Begin your return journey from Na Village, descending towards Dongang.
Afternoon: Arrive at Dongang, a peaceful riverside village where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Overnight: Stay in Dongang.

Day 6: Dongang to Chetchet (5-6 hours)
Morning: Continue your trek down to Chetchet, retracing your steps along the scenic trail.
Afternoon: Arrive in Chetchet, where the trek concludes.
Overnight: Stay in Chetchet or take transportation back to Kathmandu, depending on time.

Day 7: Chetchet to Kathmandu by Bus (6-7 hours)
Morning: Board the bus for a return journey to Kathmandu, bringing your trek to a close.
Afternoon: Arrive in Kathmandu by late afternoon or early evening.

Gosaikunda Lake is a sacred alpine lake in Nepal, nestled at an altitude of 4,380 meters in the Langtang National Park. It's revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, with Hindus believing it to be the abode of Lord Shiva and Buddhists considering it a sacred site associated with Guru Rinpoche. The lake is believed to have formed from the digging of Lord Shiva's trident to obtain water during his deep meditation.

Nearest to Kathmandu, the trek to Gosaikunda Lake begins from Dhunche, a scenic bus ride away. Here's a suggested itinerary:

Day 1: Travel from Kathmandu to Dhunche via Nuwakot by bus.
Day 2: Trek from Dhunche to Chandanbari, passing through lush green forests, with lunch at Deurali and tea/snacks at Dhimsa.
Day 3: Trek from Chandanbari to Lauribina, with a lunch stop at Cholangpati. Optionally, you can divert for the Langtang Valley trek from Cholangpati.
Day 4: Trek from Lauribina to Gosaikunda. En route, observe Saraswoti K***a and Bhairabh K***a. Hike up to Suryakunda and return to Gosaikunda for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Hike to a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the lake and the Langtang mountain range. Bathe in the sacred waters of Gosaikunda, worship Lord Shiva, and return to Chandanbari.
Day 6: Return trek to Dhunche from Chandanbari, have a meal, and head back to Kathmandu by bus.

**Day 1: Road Travel from Kathmandu to Phungling Bazar**
The journey commences with a road trip from the bustling city of Kathmandu to the tranquil town of Phungling Bazar, where the anticipation for the adventure ahead sets in.

**Day 2: Phungling Bazar to Siwan**
The trek officially kicks off with an easy walk from Phungling Bazar to Siwan, allowing trekkers to acclimate gradually while soaking in the beauty of their surroundings.

**Day 3: Siwan to Lamatar**

**Day 8: Lonak to Kanchanjunga North Base Camp and Back to Khambachen**

**Day 9: Khambachen to Ghunsa**
