Wow, what a week! Alongside Scott O’Donnell, seven other Southlanders were also honoured in the King’s Birthday Honours List. Scott has been recognised as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) a well-deserved honour acknowledging his contribution to business across New Zealand, along with his ongoing philanthropic support in Invercargill and beyond.

Scott’s passion for achieving exceptional outcomes is something we see every day, and this recognition reflects the impact he continues to have within our business and the wider community.

Congratulations to our Driver of the Month for May, Jericho!

Jericho has been part of the Allied Concrete team for just over 8 years, operating a Mack 202310-wheeler based in Auckland.

The truck is well presented and is a standout wherever it travels. His “on- road awareness”, allows him the ability to manoeuvre this beast in and around most Auckland sites. Tricky business in the city!
He also shows good, consistent driver’s green scores, averaging 994-999 for the past month.

Jericho has a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed, including helping out with driving in Christchurch. He is a valued member of the team.

Jericho is a family man and in his spare time, enjoys cycling, basketball and fishing.

Big thanks to Truckstops for their continued support in celebrating our people.

Recently our Head Office held a Pink Ribbon Breakfast, bringing the team together to raise awareness and support for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

With a spread full of pink-themed treats it was a lovely morning to connect while backing a cause that touches so many lives. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
