Another Senator RH620 in the workshop for a serious electronics upgrade. ⚓️🎣

Already running a 16” Simrad EVO3S and a Recon trolling motor, we’re adding even more capability to this setup.

The upgrade includes:
• Additional 12” Simrad EVO3S on the dash
• Simrad autopilot with dedicated controller
• Simrad Halo 24 radar on a Seaview pedestal
• SIONYX Nightwave Digital night vision camera

A big step up in navigation, radar, autopilot and low-light visibility — all integrated into one capable fishing setup.

More photos to come as we bring it all together.

The Garmin Fantom 24X is now installed and ready to go on this Stabi 1850.

Mounted on a Seaview pedestal with matching top plate, this setup not only adds serious radar capability but is also a great tool for offshore fishing — with the 24X’s narrower beam providing a more focused, high-resolution picture, along with Garmin’s Auto Bird Gain to help pick up bird activity over feeding fish.

A great addition to an already well-equipped Stabicraft.

Today we had this McLay 680 in the workshop for a well overdue electronics upgrade.

We removed the old GlobalMap system and installed a new Lowrance Elite FS 9 paired with an AI 3-in-1 transducer, along with a Point-1 GPS/Heading Sensor for accurate positioning and heading data.

The Elite FS 9 was finished off with a custom matte black acrylic CNC-cut panel for a clean, factory-style look.

Another tidy upgrade, giving this McLay a much more modern and capable electronics setup. ⚓️🎣

Another step forward on the Riviera 37 upgrade.

The custom dash panel is now in place, with the dual Garmin 8412 displays and GHC 50 autopilot controller going in.

The autopilot computer and heading sensor are also now installed, so the electronics and autopilot system are really starting to come together.

Still plenty to do, including the radar and transducer installation, but it’s already looking like a completely different helm.

More to come as this one takes shape. 🔧⚓

A start on another exciting project 👌

Made a start today on this Riviera 37 upgrade, beginning with the layout and template for a custom CNC-machined acrylic dash panel.

The finished installation will feature:

âš“ Dual Garmin 8412xsv displays
🧭 Garmin GHC 50 autopilot controller
📡 Garmin Fantom 24x radar
🚤 New autopilot system

A big part of a quality electronics installation is getting the details right before anything is cut. The custom panel will give the finished dash a clean, factory-style look while making the most of the available space.

📦 New stock has arrived from Quality Marine Electronics!

In this reel we’re unboxing two products that help us deliver cleaner, stronger, and more professional Airmar transducer installations.

🔹 QME Precision Collars – Designed for Airmar 1kW B175 transducers, these collars provide a much cleaner finish and provide better water flow.

🔹 10° Transom Wedges – Perfect for Surtees boats when fitting Airmar 1kW transducers. These wedges help achieve the correct transducer angle while reducing the number of wedges required, resulting in a neater and stronger installation.

We only use quality components to ensure every installation performs as it should, both on the water and for years to come.
