CMA is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing friendship centres to seniors who are isolated in the North Shore to Rodney areas.

The organisation also offers total mobility assessments to support independence Founded in 1961, CMA has been dedicated to supporting seniors in the community. As we age, our needs and social connections change. Staying active and forming friendships have been shown to greatly benefit both physical and mental health. That’s why CMA focuses on reaching out to seniors who may feel isolated, helping them connect through friendship centres located across Auckland to Rodney.

Are you looking for a Total Mobility Discount Taxi Card or know someone that may benefit from getting one ? CMA Northshore has assessors available to help you. We are also at Glenfield mall on a Tuesday by Woolworths from 10am till 12noon.
The Total Mobility scheme is a national scheme that supports people who cannot use public transport to travel, all or some of the time.
In Auckland those who are eligible get a subsidised rate on contracted taxis for door to door transport, also an accessible concession loaded on a Total Mobility AT HOP card used to pay for discounted travel on public transport.
Total Mobility customers receive a 75% discount off taxi fares, up to a maximum fare cap of $80 per trip. For trips over $80 Auckland Transport will only pay a maximum subsidy of $60.
