We are very happy to share that the final piece of our FBO offering has arrived.

In partnership with GOFuel, we now have our own dedicated Jet A1 fuel truck on site at the Taupō Airport. We can provide both underwing and overwing refuelling, making it a convenient and efficient option for pilots needing fuel on arrival or departure. ⛽️

We have been working on something big and it’s almost here!

From 1 November, Escape Aviation will proudly open the Taupō region’s only dedicated Fixed Base Operator (FBO) service, purpose-built to support private jets and charter aircraft.

This new facility delivers a seamless, discreet and premium alternative to the domestic terminal with our team there to personally greet every passenger right at the aircraft door and transfer them in comfort.

From 1 December, in partnership with Gofuel we will also offer full refuelling services, both under and over-wing for all aircraft types.

Our services include:

Domestic Ground Handling: professional support for arriving and departing aircraft

Private Guest Lounge: a quiet, comfortable space to relax pre or post-flight

Guest Services: luxury transfers, baggage handling, and personalised on-the-ground support

Aircraft Services: lavatory servicing, dishwashing, and full aircraft restocking

This milestone is not only a huge step forward for Escape Aviation but also for the wider Taupō region.

And the best part? Every aircraft that lands here is welcomed by Taupō locals who love where they live and can’t wait to share it.
