Make sure you are registered for this Wednesday's webinar: Assessing the environmental impacts of a development

California has recently enacted legislation to shift the metric of measurement of environmental impacts from developments. This panel event will examine how general traffic level of service (LOS) and vehicle-kilometres travelled (VKT) can be used as metrics of measurement of environmental impacts from New Zealand land and transport developments. We aim to foster a discussion on the benefits and disbenefits of using VKT as an alternative to LOS in order for the assessment outcomes to better align with high-level strategic goals of the Ministry of Transport, Waka Kotahi, Councils and Council Controlled Organisations.

When: Wednesday 31 March, 5PM - 6PM
Where:
Auckland - MRCagney, Level 4, 12 O'Connell Street
