Main character era unlocked: Cebu Pacific just upgraded our hand-carry allowance and it’s actually CRAZY!

If you’re the type of person who wears 3 jackets at gate check just to avoid baggage fees, this one is for you.

Starting Sept 15, 2026, 5J flights are giving us 10KG total hand-carry allowance! That’s 3 whole kilos of extra fits, shoes, and zero airport stress. 💅

The lowdown:

5J Flights: 10KG limit (1 overhead item + 1 personal item under seat)

DG / Cebgo Flights: Stays at 7KG (don't get it twisted!)

Rule: Max 2 pieces total, and you still gotta be able to lift it into the bin yourself (no weak muscles allowed).

We love a good gala as much as anyone, pero rainy season is not the time to say “𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻.”

Before you head out, take a few minutes to check:

☑️ PAGASA advisories — know what the weather is actually doing
☑️ Your flight status — delays and cancellations can happen
☑️ Your destination’s weather — iba ang ulan sa Manila vs. ulan sa destination mo
☑️ Backup plans — because Plan B is still a plan
☑️ Important documents — keep them safe and protected
☑️ Extra travel time — traffic + rain = give yourself some breathing room
