Kinsay gitugnaw diha? Come ran at Ichiran with me🤭🍜

Ichiran Ramen is a famous Japanese restaurant chain known for its signature Tonkotsu (rich, creamy pork bone) broth and private "flavor concentration" booths. They are also famous for a secret red sauce made of over 30 spices.

How it Works? At the restaurant, you order your meal from a ticket vending machine. You then sit in a single-person booth. You fill out a paper to customize exactly how you want your ramen.

Flavor: How strong you want the pork soup to be.
Richness: How much oil is in the soup.
Noodles: How firm or soft you want the noodles.
Spiciness: How hot you want the red sauce.

When your ramen is ready, the server opens a bamboo blind and hands the food through a small window. If you finish all your noodles but still have leftover soup, you can order a refill of noodles by saying kae-dama.

Releasing a sky lantern in Taiwan is a bucket-list cultural experience. Year-round, you can launch a personalized lantern on the train tracks at Shifen Old Street. Lanterns cost about NT$150 to NT$300 (roughly US$5 to US$10) depending on the number of colored sides you choose. Vendors will provide brushes and black ink so you can paint wishes for health, wealth, or career on the four sides of the paper, after which they will safely ignite and release the lantern for you.
