1. Do you have trips in Buenavista, Guimaras?
Answer: No, we only operate trips plying the Jordan Wharf – Parola Wharf route.

2. When is the first and last trip?
Jordan Wharf to Parola – 5:20 AM – 9:30 PM
Parola Wharf to Jordan Wharf – 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

3. Do you have an NFC card and how much is it?
Answer: Yes, the card is free. You only pay for the ₱30 preload. When you avail the card:
• Promotional 10% rebates
• Electronic manifest
• Easy, handy, and convenient
• Just tap and get your receipt

4. Have you already increased your fare?
Answer: No, our new rates will take effect on April 7, 2026.

5. But I was already charged ₱40?
Answer: It may be from other ferry operators. We are not yet collecting the new fare.

6. How much are your new rates effective April 7, 2026?
Answer:
Regular cash – 40 pesos
Regular card (10% rebate) – 36 pesos
Discounted cash and card (20% discount) – 32 pesos
Nighttime regular cash – 50 pesos
Nighttime regular card (10% rebate) – 45 pesos
Nighttime discounted (20% discount) – 40 pesos

7. I am a senior, student, or PWD. Should I get both the 10% rebate and 20% discount?
Answer: No. Discounts and rebates cannot be availed simultaneously; whichever is higher will be applied.

8. Are we making a sudden fare increase decision?
Answer: No. As much as we do not want to burden the riding public in their daily commute, we strictly followed due process. We first conducted consultations with all municipal mayors and provincial officials to come up with a fair, justifiable, and affordable fare for everyone. Prior to implementation, we also complied with the required 14-day public notice, despite the urgent challenges brought by the drastic global fuel price increase.

9. Why is there a nighttime rate?
Answer: Nighttime trips usually have fewer passengers. The nighttime rate helps cover operational costs such as crew nighttime differentials, overtime pay, and the average fuel consumption of about 10 liters per trip.

OPENING OF BIDDING & SUBMISSION OF QUOTATION for the Mandatory Drydocking of MV Jordan Ferry 14

The Guimaras Island Transport Multipurpose Cooperative is now inviting interested contractors to submit sealed quotations for the Mandatory Drydocking of MV Jordan Ferry 14:

1. Installation of PVC double ceiling for the upper deck
2. Guard rail repair, lifejacket housing, and transfer of center post
3. Fabrication and installation of watertight windows for the lower deck
4. Fabrication and installation of watertight steel door for the engine room and repair of fire exit door
5. Painting works for MV Jordan Ferry 14 (interior and exterior)

Important Notes:
• All quotations must be sealed and submission shall be made to the GITMPC Office on or before January 23, 2026
• Interested bidders may inspect MV Jordan Ferry 14 for actual assessment prior to preparing their quotation
• Please refer to the attached photos for reference
