The Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) has officially released revised guidelines aimed at enhancing convenience for all visa applicants. These changes represent a significant reduction in paperwork, making it easier than ever for us to send more travelers to South Korea! 🇰🇷✨

Please take note of these critical updates to ensure your clients’ applications are compliant starting tomorrow, February 20, 2026:

1️⃣ NO MORE BANK STATEMENTS 💳
The requirement for the submission of "three (3) months of bank statements" has been officially WAIVED for all types of required documents. This is a massive win for efficiency and privacy for our clients!

2️⃣ SIMPLIFIED STUDENT REQUIREMENTS 🎓
For our student applicants, the process is now flexible. Instead of requiring both, applicants may now choose to submit EITHER the Original School Certificate OR a copy of their Student ID.

3️⃣ "ONE-COPY" RULE FOR GROUPS & FAMILIES 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
When handling multiple applicants (families, corporate groups, or friends), common supporting documents—such as invitation letters, family relationship proofs, or company-related documents—should now be submitted in one (1) copy only. This copy must be attached to the representative applicant’s file, significantly reducing the bulk of your submissions.

4️⃣ EASIER EMPLOYMENT DOCS & E-SIGNATURES ✍️
Submission of an "explanation letter" is now WAIVED for employment-related documents that lack a landline number or feature electronic signatures. As long as a reachable mobile number or email address is provided, the document will be accepted without further justification.
