GO BUKIDNON TRAVELS together with BJM TRANSPORT SERVICES, successfully conducted its Joint General Assembly, bringing together members in a productive and meaningful gathering aimed at addressing key operational concerns, strengthening organizational unity, and reinforcing the commitment of every member to safe, efficient, and compliant public transport service.
The assembly served as an important venue to discuss both previous and current concerns of the general membership, ensuring that all issues were openly addressed and that members were provided with the necessary guidance and updates to further improve their operations.
Among the major topics discussed were the transition of BeRich Travel and Tours to GO BUKIDNON TRAVELS, officially marking its status from a non-accepting company to an accepting company. This significant development reflects the organization’s continued growth and commitment to providing better opportunities and support for its members.
The assembly also clarified the respective Areas of Responsibility (AOR) for South Bukidnon Sector under BJM Transport Services and North Bukidnon Sector under GO BUKIDNON TRAVELS, promoting better coordination, accountability, and efficient management within each designated area.
Additional matters of importance were thoroughly discussed, including the proper compliance with Trip Tickets and Passenger Contracts, updates regarding inspections conducted by the respective National Public Transport Coalition (NPTC) Inspectors, and the correction of common operational shortcomings and improper practices. Members were reminded that strict adherence to transport regulations, proper documentation, and professional conduct are essential in maintaining the trust and confidence of every customers while ensuring compliance with government policies.
The successful conduct of the assembly was made possible through the leadership of Sir Jopet Buenaventura, NPTC Board of Director, whose comprehensive discussion and guidance provided clarity on the organization’s policies and future direction. Assisting him was Sir Christian Montero Santiago, who shared valuable insights on enforcement procedures, regulatory compliance, and the responsibilities of every transport operator and driver in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
