**🔥 Fire Safety Tip: How to Use a Fire Extinguisher – Remember PASS! 🔥**

Knowing how to use a fire extinguisher can make the difference between a small incident and a major disaster. Before using one, always ensure the fire is small, you have a clear escape route, and the extinguisher is appropriate for the type of fire.

🧯 **Remember the PASS Method:**

**🅿️ Pull** – Pull the safety pin to unlock the extinguisher.

**🅰️ Aim** – Point the nozzle at the **base of the fire**, not the flames.

**🆂 Squeeze** – Squeeze the handle firmly to release the extinguishing agent.

**🆂 Sweep** – Sweep the nozzle from side to side at the base of the fire until it is completely out.

⚠️ **Important Safety Reminders:**
✔️ Only attempt to extinguish a small, contained fire.
✔️ Keep your back facing a clear exit in case the fire spreads.
✔️ If the fire continues to grow or smoke becomes excessive, evacuate immediately and call the fire department.
