This was one of those simple yet beautiful days — a short hike, an outdoor kitchen, amazing food, peaceful surroundings, and a wonderful tribe.
And after tasting that Qeema and Malaee Karahi, I think we may have accidentally started a new monthly tradition! 😄🔥

From a Simple Hike to an Outdoor Feast 🥾🔥🍲

Sometimes, the best adventures aren’t planned weeks in advance — they simply begin with an idea, a little enthusiasm, and the right people around you.

During one of our regular hikes last week, Khabir Bhai casually suggested, “Why don’t we plan a short hike and combine it with some outdoor cooking?” It sounded like a great idea, and naturally, the discussion soon found its way into our WhatsApp group.

That’s when Omar Sulehri — The Jungle Shack quickly jumped in and said we could pick any weekend and make it happen.
For our adventure-loving — and apparently very hungry — souls, that was all the motivation we needed! 😄🔥

One message led to another, the plan started taking shape, and before we knew it, several members had come forward to join this little outdoor adventure. What started as a casual conversation during a hike turned into a wonderful gathering surrounded by nature, good food, laughter, and even better company.
And today, as we sit back in the late evening and look through the memories, it feels wonderful to see how beautifully such a simple idea came together. 🌿⛰️

The stars of our outdoor kitchen were undoubtedly Khabir Bhai’s special Qeema and Omar Sulehri’s Malaee Chicken Karahi. Both dishes were prepared outdoors with absolute precision, and the final result was nothing short of premium! 👌🔥
The taste said it all — everyone absolutely loved the food, and within minutes, there was hardly anything left! 😋

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came forward and became part of this special gathering. Many of our friends also brought delicious homemade food and other items to share, making the experience even more memorable.

For me, adventures have never been only about reaching a summit or covering kilometres on a trail. They are equally about the people we meet, the conversations we share, the food we enjoy together, and the memories we carry home.

This was one of those simple yet beautiful days — a short hike, an outdoor kitchen, amazing food, peaceful surroundings, and a wonderful tribe.

Lalazar is a green meadow situated at the height of an elevation of 3,123 metres (10,246 ft) above the sea level, located in upper Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan

Nice place with lots of beautiful scenery to see and relaxing. Not as busy as other places and I would recommend visiting.
