The Public Transport Company in Bucharest(STB) is about to scrap all the decomissioned vehicles, among which there are various unique models, such as the trolleybuses Rocar 812 EA and Rocar 412 EA(which are one-offs), various unique trams such as local made V2A, V3A, V2S-T(built on Tatra T4R platform), Tatra T4R and many other buses, recovery vehicles and other vehicles related to fleet and infrastructure maintenance. This procedure endangers the project of the Public Transport Museum in Bucharest, started almost a year ago, with almost 1500 supporters. We highly recomand you to SHARE and SIGN their petition, in order to save a part of the history of the Bucharest public transport.

SHARE! STB scoate la fier vechi și ultimele vehicule istorice pe care le mai deține: tramvaie, troleibuze și autobuze românești unicate, de patrimoniu tehnic național, o parte din ele fiind păstrate ani de zile cu scopul precis de a fi restaurate și expuse public.

Fie că vorbim despre troleibuzele și autobuzele unicat Rocar, ce au marcat ultimul capitol al uzinei bucureștene, fie că vorbim despre tramvaiul bidirecțional V2A ce a inaugurat în 1983 linia supranumită azi „metrou ușor”, toate aceste mijloace de transport istorice au fost simboluri ale transportului bucureștean și ale industriei naționale. Deși Bucureștiul a produs mii de tramvaie, troleibuze și autobuze de-a lungul generațiilor, flota muzeală a STB se rezumă la doar 3 tramvaie românești de epocă. Insuficient și nereprezentativ.

Asociatia Metrou Usor a emis astăzi un comunicat prin care solicită scoaterea patrimoniului de pe lista de casat și expunerea lui în Muzeul Transportului Bucureștean. Avem în spate o petiție semnată de aproximativ 2000 de oameni. With a fleet of no more than 80 diesel buses and approximately 11 routes, the transit system in Bacău is operated by S.C. Transport Public S.A. Throughout the city, the main actors of the scene of public transport are czech made Iveco & Irisbus Crossway LE, Mercedes-Benz Conecto O345 and Anadolu Isuzu Citibus. Despite the relatively new buses, most of them have seen better days, especially speaking of cleanliness, even in this period of sanitary crisis. Here you can see a small collection of photos, with more to come in the near future. :)

After a long period of absence, one of the few remaining 2-doored Renault R312 #490 (ex-RATP Paris #6117) returned into service for one day as other buses went through repairs. This bus is a very rare figure of Cluj-Napoca's(RO) public transport and, although his age, it managed to offer one of the most pleasent rides just like in the time of daily service.
