nd weight. Four seasoned forwarding agents originally founded First Cargo in 2000. Thomas Lindström, Sven Algholm, Leif Johnson and Johan Almén had extensive experience of the industry and felt that a forwarding agency could be run differently. Things got off to a flying start. Old clients were happy to use First Cargo, and agents and business partners supported the new firm. The first desk had hardly got through the doors of the new office on Marieholmsgatan, Gothenburg, and we were already hard at work. At the time we handled around 525 consignments a month. Today we have 13 employees who handle almost 1,700 assignments a month. We are growing, but cautiously. We do not want to jeopardise the personal contact we enjoy with our clients by becoming too big and impersonal. A warm welcome to First Cargo! We take it personally
