The Singapore Boating Industry Association (SBIA) has outlined its priorities for 2026–2027 following its Annual General Meeting on 26 August, with a focus on stronger industry representation, member opportunities and international engagement.
Over the past year, SBIA has continued to rebuild and strengthen its role as the collective voice of Singapore’s recreational marine industry.
Key developments include:
• 31 Ordinary Members representing 14 industry sectors
• Merger of the Association of Boat Charter Singapore into SBIA
• Formation of 10 industry clusters to better represent different areas of the marine sector
• Continued participation in the MPA Safety Committee and industry dialogue
• Resumption of regular member communications and activities
• Support for boating, safety and industry events throughout the year

Great to see the Singapore Yachting Festival and Singapore Boating Industry Association (SBIA) sponsoring the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Night in Monaco.

Events like this around the Monaco Yacht Show play an important role in keeping Singapore connected and visible within the global superyacht industry, while strengthening partnerships and collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.

From 1 September 2026, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove will introduce round-the-clock Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) clearance for pleasure craft and yachts.
