Last weekend, we received what looked like a dream Japan enquiry. Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nagano, Kawaguchiko, Tokyo. A generous daily budget. Spring dates.

On paper, it ticked every box.

But true luxury travel planning is never just about whatโ€™s written on paper.

I still remember arriving in Interlaken on a peak summer afternoon. The Alps looked unreal. The platform felt like total chaos. Crowds rushing. Families navigating heavy luggage. No seat reservations in second class. Standing passengers hoping for space.

We didnโ€™t rush.

We walked calmly into first class, set our bags down, and chose our window seats. The cabin was quiet. Spacious. No hovering. No stress. Just a peaceful departure into the Alps.
