AMKSS Social Move Patron : SPS Eric Chua Background

AMKSS Social Move was established in August 2021 and is run by a passionate team of AMKSS Alumni leads by Michael Sim.

An Approved IPC Charity and member of NCSS - Caring for the Seniors & Supporting vulnerable in our Community, 100% run by dedicated non salaried volunteers since 2012. Though AMKSS Social Move is newly set up, those who know Michael Sim will be aware that he has been actively helping the community since Year 2013. The main purposes of setting up AMKSS Social Move are (1) to expand our limited resources, allowing us to assist more vulnerable in the community as years go by and (2) to create a platform for AMKSS Alumni and people who care regardless of race and religion to come together to contribute our small thoughts to the place we belong to.

TWO HOMES. TWO TEAMS. ONE SHARED MISSION OF COMPASSION.

On 18 October 2026, AMKSS Social Move carried out two challenging decluttering operations, bringing together two dedicated teams of 15–20 volunteers each to take on an enormous task.

Both homes were cluttered from floor to ceiling, throughout the entire house. It was physically demanding, challenging and required tremendous teamwork, patience and determination. Yet, our volunteers stepped up to the challenge, working hand in hand to clear the homes and create safer, cleaner and more liveable environments for the residents.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to every volunteer who gave their time, energy and strength to make these missions possible. Your willingness to serve, even under the most challenging conditions, is truly inspiring.

A big thank you to MND (NEAT Division), HDB, Bishan Town Council, East Coast Town Council and ACL Tunneling Pte Ltd for your invaluable support, collaboration and partnership. Together, we can reach more vulnerable households and bring meaningful changes to their lives.

We were also honoured to welcome Channel 8 News reporter who joined us yesterday to cover our operations. It was a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on our foreign friends who have joined AMKSS Social Move in serving vulnerable individuals and families in Singapore. They are our pillars of strength, giving their time and effort unconditionally to help those in need, regardless of background.

At AMKSS Social Move, we believe that compassion has no boundaries. Every helping hand, every act of kindness and every hour volunteered can make a real difference in someone's life.

Would you like to make a difference too?

If you share our passion for serving the community and helping those in need, PM us to join our volunteer family! Together, let us continue bringing hope, restoring dignity and leaving no one behind.

Weekly Florence Nightingale night walk for this weekend;

This week we covered these areas:
Bedok, Boon Lay Spring, Chai Chee, Lentor, Hougang, Lor Lew Lian, Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang West. We blessed our street friends with donated blankets, water bottles, cream puffs and N95 masks to combat the haze because we leave no one behind 💕

今日有人在受苦，有人露宿街頭，有人在挨餓。我們的工作是今日的，昨日已逝，明日未臨。不要等到明日, 如果我們今天不做, 明日他們可能已經不在了。

1 new double-deck single bed

1 pre-loved good condition two-door refrigerator

Our heartfelt thanks to Mr KA Ong for generously sponsoring and delivering the refrigerator and helping us make this home more complete. Your kindness makes a meaningful difference! 🙏

With these essential items in place, we hope the resident can enjoy better rest, greater convenience in daily living, and a cleaner, more comfortable home environment.

At AMKSS Social Move Limited, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home. Sometimes, it is the simple things that make the biggest difference. Through the collective efforts of our charity, volunteers and generous donors, we hope to bring renewed hope, dignity and lasting positive changes to those in need.

Together, let us continue to care, share and make a difference — leaving no one behind.

Today’s house cleaning mission in Hougang and Bedok were accomplished with the help of 28 RI students, teachers and our AMKSS Social Move volunteers.

They split into 2 teams, sorting and clearing the accumulated items in both houses.

The work was challenging and completed beyond the expected duration but everyone gave their best to help create a safer, cleaner and healthier home for the two families.

A big thank you to MSF, MND (NEAT Division), HDB, Hougang Town Council and East Coast Town Council for their invaluable support and partnership in making this mission possible.

If you share the same passion for serving the community and making a difference, PM us to join our volunteer family.
